With a smile & warmth that is extended to the entire fraternity of SDIS, Mrs. Piyali Sarkar is the most vital link between students, faculty & the management. A highly decorated lady, a master's holder in philosophy & with well-established business ethics & communication skills, Mrs. Piyali Sarkar believes in being a life long learner.

We can make our life sublime
And, departing, leaves behind us,
Footprints on the sands of time"

The lives of so many great and successful men remind us that even we can achieve those heights through a strong desire coupled with our willpower and if we do that, we would be living forever in our works, in the heart of people. Immortality here is being compared to footprints, on the sands of time. In other words, we will not be living forever here, but we can leave our mark on the infinite flow of time through our good work, to inspire later generations to follow in our footsteps.
